How do I delete my data?
Frog Companion does not collect anything, so we hold no data about you. Everything the app stores is on your phone: delete the app to remove it.
Which phones does Frog Companion run on?
Any phone with Android 10 or later.
How do I pair my phone with my Mac?
Frog Companion works with Frog for macOS (github.com/t1llo/frog). In Frog on your Mac, turn on Phone under Features, open Phone and choose Pair a phone. Then open Frog Companion on your phone and scan the code your Mac shows.
Why does sending to my Mac need a tap?
Since Android 10, only the app on screen may read the clipboard, so Frog Companion cannot pick up what you copy in the background. Tap Send to Mac in the app, the notification, the Quick Settings tile or the share sheet, and it sends what is on your clipboard at that moment.
How do I keep it connected to my Mac?
Android may stop apps in the background to save battery. When Frog Companion shows Keep it running, tap Open battery settings and choose Unrestricted, so the connection to your Mac stays open while the phone is idle.

Warum braucht das Senden an den Mac einen Tipp?
Seit Android 10 darf nur die App auf dem Bildschirm die Zwischenablage lesen, deshalb kann Frog Companion nicht im Hintergrund mitbekommen, was du kopierst. Tipp in der App, der Benachrichtigung, der Kachel in den Schnelleinstellungen oder über Teilen auf „Send to Mac“, dann sendet es, was in diesem Moment in der Zwischenablage liegt.
Wie bleibt die Verbindung zu meinem Mac bestehen?
Android stoppt Apps im Hintergrund manchmal, um Akku zu sparen. Zeigt Frog Companion „Keep it running“, tipp auf „Open battery settings“ und wähle „Uneingeschränkt“, damit die Verbindung zu deinem Mac offen bleibt, während das Smartphone ruht.
