Frog Companion connects your Android phone to Frog on your Mac, so your clipboard follows you between them.

Copy text or an image on your Mac and it's on your phone's clipboard a moment later. Copy something on your phone and send it to your Mac with one tap: from the app, the notification, a Quick Settings tile, the launcher shortcut, or the share sheet. Files from your Mac are saved to Downloads, and you can share any photo or file from your phone to your Mac.

WORKS ANYWHERE

  • Over Wi-Fi when your phone and Mac are on the same network.
  • Over Bluetooth when they aren't, so it keeps working on the train or a café's guest Wi-Fi.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

  • Your phone talks straight to your own Mac. There is no server, no account and no cloud copy.
  • Everything is end-to-end encrypted with a key created when you pair, stored in Android's secure Keystore.
  • No ads, no analytics, no tracking.

Android only lets the app on screen read the clipboard, so sending from your phone always takes one tap. Frog Companion never reads your clipboard in the background.

GETTING STARTED

  • In Frog on your Mac, turn on Phone under Features, open Phone and choose Pair a phone.
  • Open Frog Companion and scan the code.

Frog Companion verbindet dein Android-Smartphone mit Frog auf deinem Mac, damit deine Zwischenablage dir zwischen beiden folgt.

Kopierst du auf dem Mac einen Text oder ein Bild, liegt es einen Moment später in der Zwischenablage deines Smartphones. Was du auf dem Smartphone kopierst, schickst du mit einem Tipp an den Mac: aus der App, der Benachrichtigung, einer Kachel in den Schnelleinstellungen, der Verknüpfung auf dem Startbildschirm oder über Teilen. Dateien vom Mac landen in Downloads, und jedes Foto und jede Datei auf deinem Smartphone kannst du an den Mac teilen.

FUNKTIONIERT ÜBERALL

  • Über WLAN, wenn Smartphone und Mac im selben Netz sind.
  • Über Bluetooth, wenn nicht, also auch im Zug oder im Gäste-WLAN eines Cafés.

PRIVAT VON GRUND AUF

  • Dein Smartphone spricht direkt mit deinem eigenen Mac. Es gibt keinen Server, kein Konto und keine Kopie in der Cloud.
  • Alles ist Ende-zu-Ende-verschlüsselt, mit einem Schlüssel, der beim Koppeln entsteht und im sicheren Keystore von Android liegt.
  • Keine Werbung, keine Analyse, kein Tracking.

Android lässt nur die App auf dem Bildschirm die Zwischenablage lesen, deshalb braucht das Senden vom Smartphone immer einen Tipp. Frog Companion liest deine Zwischenablage nie im Hintergrund.
