Notabene is built so that your data stays with you. We do not collect, store or share personal data, we do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
What happens on your device
- Recordings and transcripts are stored only on this iPhone. Speech is transcribed on the device; audio is never uploaded.
- Remember to ask people for consent before you record them.
Purchases and Apple
Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your name, your Apple Account or your payment details. Apple gives us anonymous, aggregated figures about downloads and sales. If you allow it in iOS Settings (Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share With App Developers), Apple also shares crash reports and usage statistics with us. None of this identifies you.
Apple Intelligence
Where the app uses Apple's on-device foundation model, the text or images you choose are processed by Apple on your device, or by Apple's Private Cloud Compute, which Apple designed so that your data is not stored or made accessible to anyone, including us.
Your data and how to delete it
Everything the app stores stays on your iPhone. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to export or delete. To remove all of it, delete the app. Backups of your iPhone in iCloud or on a computer can contain the app's data until they are replaced.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Wenn du es in den iOS-Einstellungen erlaubst (Datenschutz & Sicherheit → Analyse & Verbesserungen → Mit App-Entwicklern teilen), teilt Apple zusätzlich Absturzberichte und Nutzungsstatistiken mit uns. Nichts davon lässt Rückschlüsse auf deine Person zu.
Apple Intelligence
Wo die App Apples On-Device-Sprachmodell nutzt, verarbeitet Apple die von dir gewählten Texte oder Bilder auf deinem Gerät oder über Apples Private Cloud Compute, das so gebaut ist, dass deine Daten weder gespeichert noch irgendjemandem zugänglich gemacht werden, auch uns nicht.
Deine Daten löschen
Alles, was die App speichert, bleibt auf deinem iPhone. Wir haben keine Kopie, deshalb können wir nichts herausgeben oder löschen. Um alles zu entfernen, lösche die App. Sicherungen deines iPhones in iCloud oder auf einem Computer können die Daten der App enthalten, bis sie ersetzt werden.
Kinder
Die App erhebt wissentlich von niemandem Daten, auch nicht von Kindern.
